Library

CSD Library formalised as ‘Professor Amar Kumar Singh Library’ in 1998, has a total of 8,607 titles which includes books, reports, reference books and non-book material. The collection is housed subject-wise under three major streams, viz. Social Sciences, Environmental Sciences and Humanities. It also receives 11 daily national newspapers and more than 17 journals/periodicals on complimentary basis or on exchange with CSD’s journal. The final reports of all projects carried out by CSD are also available in the library.

It subscribes to 44 journals and few online databases and is a depository of publications of the government of India and International agencies like The World Bank, United Nations etc.
